Donkey Xote for PlayStation 2 is a 3D action-platformer based on the animated film that reimagines the classic tale of Don Quixote from the perspective of Sancho Panza's donkey, Rucio.
Step into the hooves of Rucio, a donkey with ambitions of becoming a noble horse, as he accompanies Don Quixote, Sancho Panza, and the horse Rocinante on a journey to duel the Knight of the Half Moon. Across themed stages set in medieval Spain, players navigate platforming challenges, solve environmental puzzles, collect items, and fend off enemies using kicks and special moves.
The game combines third-person exploration, obstacle courses, and boss encounters suited for fans of light-hearted adventure games on the PlayStation 2.
