Enter The Matrix for PlayStation 2 is a third-person action game set in the world of The Matrix film series, following the hovercraft Logos crew.
Set alongside the events of The Matrix Reloaded, the story follows Niobe, captain of the hovercraft Logos, and her first mate Ghost. Players experience parallel missions that intersect with the struggle against the machine army and the agents inside the simulation.
Players choose between Niobe and Ghost, each featuring distinct level paths. Gameplay combines martial arts combat, firearm shootouts, driving sequences, and a "Focus" ability that slows down time to perform acrobatic maneuvers, wall-runs, and dodges. A text-based hacking interface also lets players unlock hidden secrets and weapons.
