Resident Evil 4 for PlayStation 2 is a third-person action horror game developed by Capcom, presented here in the PAL Platinum edition.
Set six years after the destruction of Raccoon City, U.S. government agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent to a remote rural region of Europe to rescue Ashley Graham, the kidnapped daughter of the President of the United States. There, he encounters hostile villagers controlled by a mysterious cult known as Los Illuminados.
Played from an over-the-shoulder perspective, the game combines precision aiming with resource management using an attaché case inventory system. Players explore villages, a castle, and an island facility, upgrading weapons with a travelling merchant, solving environmental puzzles, and reacting to context-sensitive prompts during combat and cinematic sequences.
