Vexx is a 3D action-platformer for the PlayStation 2, following a young warrior equipped with ancient battle talons as he sets out to free his people.
In the land of Astara, the Shadowraith leader Dark Yabu enslaves the inhabitants of Vexx's village and defeats his grandfather. After discovering the mystical Astani War Talons, Vexx escapes and sets out across nine worlds to stop Yabu and rescue his people.
Players explore large non-linear realms to collect Shadowraith Hearts, which unlock new portals and areas. The War Talons allow Vexx to perform melee combos, climb steep surfaces, glide, swim, and unleash elemental attacks while solving environmental puzzles and battling bosses. A dynamic day-and-night cycle alters enemy behavior and access to certain objectives throughout each world.
