The Chronicles of Narnia: Chapter 1 for PlayStation 2 is an action-adventure game based on the first story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Players guide the four Pevensie siblings through the magical land of Narnia.
During World War II, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie are evacuated to a country estate where they discover a wardrobe leading to the frozen realm of Narnia. Cursed with eternal winter by the White Witch, the land awaits the return of the noble lion Aslan and the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy.
Players control the four children, switching between them to use their individual skills in combat and puzzle-solving. Peter and Edmund focus on melee attacks, Susan uses ranged archery, and Lucy can heal allies and tame creatures. Characters can also team up for combined moves, with support for both single-player and two-player cooperative play.
