We'll email the code straight to them — right away, or on a date you choose if you're buying ahead for a birthday or for Christmas morning. They can spend it on anything in the shop: a game they've been hunting, a console, the controller lead they keep meaning to replace. It doesn't have to go all at once — whatever's left stays on the code until it's used up, and it doesn't expire.
