Virtua Tennis 2009 for the Nintendo Wii is an arcade-style sports game featuring international tennis stars and a comprehensive World Tour mode. This offer includes the game disc only.
In the World Tour mode, players create a custom character and compete to reach the top of the world rankings alongside players like Roger Federer, Boris Becker, and Maria Sharapova. Managing stamina across the weekly schedule requires balancing tournaments, Tennis Academy training sessions, and rest periods.
The game uses accessible three-button shot controls and features 12 mini-games, such as Pirate Wars and Shopping Dash. Both the mini-games and standard singles or doubles matches support multiplayer play, while tournament winnings can be spent on new sports gear and clothing.
