Open Season for the Game Boy Advance is an action-adventure game based on the animated film, offered as the game cartridge only.
Players take on the roles of Boog, a domesticated grizzly bear stranded in the wild after a misadventure, and Elliot, a fast-talking one-horned mule deer. To find his way back to civilization, Boog must earn the respect of the local woodland creatures by helping them drive hunters out of the forest.
Adapted for the handheld screen, the game features platforming and action stages set across the forest. Players guide Boog and Elliot through various environments, team up with forest animals to solve puzzles, use woodland critters as projectiles against hunters, and collect points to unlock upgraded bear abilities.
The game, case and console are for display and are not included.
