Street Football for the Nintendo DS is a sports game based on the animated series, combining side-scrolling platforming action with overhead penalty shots.
In Adventure mode, players take on the role of Tag and follow the story of the Rifflers. By exploring the Riffler Institute and completing skill challenges, the team trains to compete against rival street football squads.
Matches blend two perspectives. On offense, the game plays like a side-scrolling platformer where you dodge defenders to reach an overhead shooting phase against the opposing goalkeeper. On defense, you perform slide tackles in the side view and control the goalie to block three consecutive shots in the overhead view. Alongside Adventure mode, the game includes Practice mode for replaying challenges and Matches mode for exhibition games.
