Where The Wild Things Are for the Nintendo Wii is an action-adventure platformer adapted from the 2009 feature film and the classic story by Maurice Sendak.
Players step into the wolf suit of a young boy named Max, who sails away to a mysterious island and is crowned king of its giant, unpredictable inhabitants known as the Wild Things. Working alongside Carol, K.W., Douglas, Ira, Judith, and Bull, Max sets out to explore the island before its volatile terrain collapses.
The game combines 3D platforming, light combat, and environmental puzzle-solving across diverse island biomes. Max uses his scepter to fend off shadowy creatures, navigates obstacle courses, and teams up with the different Wild Things, utilizing their unique strengths to clear blocked paths, cross wide gaps, and discover hidden collectibles.
