Step back into the dark and gritty world of Ethan Thomas with Condemned for the Xbox 360. This is the Standard PAL version of the game, released on March 18, 2008, and features English language gameplay.

Game Story

Taking place eleven months after the events of the first game, Ethan Thomas is once again on the hunt, this time searching for a missing friend. As he delves deeper, his inner demons resurface, blurring the lines between reality and nightmare.

Intense First-Person Gameplay

Condemned delivers a visceral first-person experience with a heavy emphasis on brutal melee combat. While primarily a close-quarters fighting game, you'll also encounter long-range weapons like pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Almost anything in the environment can be used as a weapon – rip a wooden board from a wall, nails and all, and use it to defend yourself.

• New Attack Mechanics: Execute devastating "Environment Kills" by using your surroundings for a final blow (e.g., smashing an enemy's head into a TV). Unleash "Chain Attacks," a combo system activated by building up a meter through combat.
• Forensic Investigation: Working with the SCU (Serial Crime Unit) again, Ethan's forensic tools make a return. This time, you'll have more control, choosing which gadget to use at crime scenes rather than the game deciding for you.
• Accomplish Points: Your performance in each level, whether good or bad, will influence your Accomplish Points.

Multiplayer Mayhem

Unlike its predecessor, Condemned introduces a robust multiplayer section for up to eight players, featuring several intense game modes:

• Deathmatch & Team Deathmatch: Classic free-for-all and team-based combat.
• Bomb Rush: A time-based mode pitting SCU Agents against the "Influenced" bums.
• Crime Scenes: The Influenced must hide evidence while SCU agents use their equipment to track it down.
