Some of the world's best car manufacturers have joined forces with Polyphony Digital and Sony to create Gran Turismo Concept. The game offers over 100 cars to choose from, including concept cars designed by brands such as Honda, Toyota, Suzuki and Mitsubishi, fantastic cars from Sony and other designers, updated models of existing Gran Turismo cars (e.g. with body kits and engine upgrades) and much more. Some of them will never see the light of day in reality.

There are 5 tracks available, 4 of which were previously available in Gran Turismo 3, plus 1 upgraded track from Gran Turismo 2. In this partial expansion, up to 6 cars can race at the same time. To make it easier to get started, only basic options are available, such as single-player arcade mode and multiplayer mode. Up to 6 players can participate in a race using iLink technology.
