Story:
Years after the Willamette incident, the zombie virus has spread. You play as Chuck Greene, a motocross champion, who must survive in Fortune City (rebuilt Las Vegas) and find Zombrex for his infected daughter, Katey. Framed for causing a new outbreak, Chuck has 72 hours to clear his name, rescue survivors, and escape before the military arrives.
Gameplay:
Dead Rising 2 offers a sandbox environment where you can freely explore, fight zombies, and complete missions (both story-related and optional). Rescue survivors, defeat psychopathic survivors, and earn Prestige Points to level up and gain new abilities. The game is known for its creative weapon crafting system. Use a workbench to combine everyday items into devastating custom weapons, guided by collectible combo cards. Complete the main story with the true ending to unlock Overtime Mode, adding extra time and objectives. Owners of Dead Rising 2: Case 0 on Xbox 360 can import their level, abilities, and unlocked combo cards.
