Open Season for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a third-person action game based on the Sony Animation Studios film. This listing is for the game only.
Players take on the roles of Boog, a domesticated bear stranded in the forest after a misadventure, and Elliot, a one-horned deer determined to be his partner. To find a way back to civilization and his hometown, Boog must earn the respect of the local woodland creatures by helping them drive away hunters.
Presented from a third-person perspective, the game involves exploring the forest and teaming up with various woodland animals. Players can throw different creatures to solve simple puzzles and overcome obstacles. Collecting points throughout the adventure unlocks new abilities for Boog.
