PlayStation 1 PSX SCPH-7502 Console Kit
Sony PlayStation 1 (PSX) Console Set - Model SCPH-7502
Step back into the era that defined 3D gaming with the Sony PlayStation 1. This "PSX" console set allows you to experience the legendary library of the 90s, from Metal Gear Solid to Final Fantasy VII and Crash Bandicoot, exactly as they were meant to be played.
Model SCPH-7502: The Enthusiast's Choice
This listing features the SCPH-7502 (PAL) model. This revision is highly desirable among collectors because it includes the improved laser unit for reliable disc reading—fixing the skipping issues of earlier models—while still retaining the Parallel I/O port on the rear, a feature that was removed in later 9000-series units.
Key Features
- Authentic Hardware: Play your original PS1 discs with zero emulation lag.
- Audio CD Functionality: Doubles as a high-fidelity CD player with the classic SoundScope visualizer.
- DualShock Support: Fully compatible with digital and analog controllers (check set contents).
- Reliable Architecture: The 7502 series balances the classic grey aesthetic with durable internal components.
Condition Report
This PlayStation 1 set is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of use typical for its age. The console has been vigorously tested and is fully functional. The laser reads discs promptly, and the ports are clean and responsive.
